It sits in a secure, gated development within the marina and includes a private parking space. Once inside your holiday home, it is immediately clear it is a stylish and well-maintained apartment with a generous reception room for relaxation and dining, leading out to a north-facing balcony with an east to westerly aspect so you can also enjoy sunrise and sunset. It also looks onto the under-cliff walk which runs along the coast and into the city or to the ancient fishing village of Rottingdean in the east.
During the cooler seasons, there is a TV, DVD player and complimentary WiFi, so you can enjoy the space with a movie or streaming service.
The modern kitchen is separate and has plenty of storage plus a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven and a hob – although it will be tempting to eat out most nights with so many restaurants and cafes nearby. You can dine al fresco on the balcony listening to the twinkling of the boats while enjoying a morning coffee or a night cap depending on the time of day.
There are two lovely double bedrooms; one with a king bed and the other a double, plus plenty of clothes storage. While one has a shower en suite, the other has use of the classic family bathroom which has a shower over the bath.
