Why you’ll like it:

As the crowning glory of a Marina front townhouse, this penthouse duplex apartment offers comfortable and luxurious living spaces for up to six people in three beautiful bedrooms. Having undergone some recent refurbishment, every room comes beautifully presented with stylish furnishings – many with a chic Mid-Century vibe. While high-end and pristine, this apartment feels like a home from home and comes equipped with everything you’ll need for your self-catering holiday.

It is found within a secure, gated development within the marina and includes two private parking spaces close to the property. Once inside your holiday home, it is immediately clear it is an elegant space over two generous floors linked by a glamorous turning staircase. With an upside down layout, the bedrooms are on the lower level allowing the main reception room to span the entire top floor with a wrap-around balcony looking out over the harbour to the sea beyond.

The modern kitchen has plenty of storage plus a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven and a hob – although it will be tempting to eat out most nights with so many restaurants and cafes nearby. Three leather sofas offer the perfect space for relaxation where in winter you can take full advantage of the Wifi so you can stream movies in the evening. There is also a table and chairs to seat eight and space around the breakfast bar for informal dining and drinks.

Downstairs, the master bedroom is vast with a dressing room, a king size bed and a glamorous ensuite which is open to the room with a walk-in shower and dual sinks. This also has access to a balcony so you can watch the sun rise with your morning coffee. Bedroom two is another glamorous double with a stylish ensuite and bedroom three has adult size bunks and a daybed plus access to the family bathroom which has white metro brick tiles and a shower over the bath.

Taking a stroll along the boardwalk, you can look out over the boats as they come in and out of the Marina while dining at one of the many family-friendly restaurants. Take the family bowling or to the cinema, or bungee jumping if you’re brave enough. Enjoy a night out at the renowned Rendezvous Casino after a meal and cocktails on the balcony of Malmaison. For fishing and boating enthusiasts there are several boat trips every day, plus yachting, sailing and water sport lessons available (weather and season permitting). Get pampered and any one of the spas, hairdressers and beauty salons, and for shopping there are several boutiques within the inner harbour. Whether you are on foot, in a car or hiring a Brighton Bike from the Marina, you can access the City of Brighton & Hove in minutes as its iconic Palace Pier and Royal Pavilion are just 1-mile along the coast to the west. Heading east along the undercliff path you’ll come first to Ovingdean Cafe and Beach where freshly baked cakes can be enjoyed on the sand as the children play in the rock pools. Fish & chips can be found further along in Rottingdean where village pubs and antique emporiums are just a minute inland on the High Street.
